A poet cannot easily control his emotions. If that sounds too strong, I can at least say that a poet cannot so easily restrain his emotions.
There are countless issues in society, numerous matters within our homes and families, and many incidents that occur in our everyday lives—some make you smile, some bring tears to your eyes, and some shake you to the core. For a poet’s heart, these issues work like ghee poured into the sacred fire of a yajna, intensifying the flame of the havan of literature.
“Band Panne” carries within it the pain of society, the anguish of the neglected, and the rebellion of the oppressed. Within these closed pages lie my emotions, which have found expression through poetry.
“Band Panne” is simply my presence in the literary world—a humble record of my existence in the realm of poetry.
